Gabe Mercado (Philippines):  Gabe founded SPIT (http://www.spitmanila.com/) in Manila in 2002 after training with Paul Sills at the Wisconsin Theater Game Center in Door County, Wisconsin. SPIT has had over 1,000 performances all over the world including shows at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival, New York Improv Festival, Chicago Improv Festival, Beijing Improv Festival, Shanghai Improv Festival, Hong Kong Improv Festival and Amsterdam Improv Festival. He has been serving as a board member of the Applied Improvisation network since 2014. He is founder and executive director of Third World Improv, the only institution in the Philippines dedicated to improv instruction and is the founder of the Manila Improv Festival.
