Giovanni Alva is the artistic mind behind Latinx Improv. His roots go back to San Diego where he created Underground Improv. He's an advocate for multilingual/multicultural improv. Studied under Mark Pentilescu at SWC where he got his AA and later at Humboldt State University where he got his BA in theater arts performance. Giovanni is currently in the theater scene in Portland working with Milagro and his new company Latinx Improv. He's currently writing an episodic play for Action/Adventure Theater which he will also direct.
